Lokra is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate dependable services for healthcare products. You will help shape backend architecture, build secure APIs and data services, and work closely with product, frontend, and integration teams to deliver reliable experiences.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Contribute to architecture decisions for scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems
• Apply sound practices for data modeling, access control, privacy, and service security
• Improve performance, observability, testing, and operational reliability
• Review code, share engineering knowledge, and support technical growth across the team

• 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience
• Strong experience building and maintaining APIs and production services
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend language and its ecosystem

• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure handling of sensitive data
• Experience with automated testing, version control, and collaborative development
