Lokra is seeking an integration engineer to help connect healthcare systems using appropriate interoperability standards and secure interfaces. You will work with product, backend, and partner teams to understand exchange requirements, implement integrations, and make data flows reliable and understandable.

• Design and implement integrations using HL7 FHIR APIs and, where needed, HL7 v2 interfaces
• Map healthcare data between source and destination systems and document transformations
• Work with FHIR resources, profiles, implementation guides, and terminology requirements
• Build validation, error handling, retry, and monitoring approaches for data exchange
• Collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to clarify workflows and integration constraints
• Support integration testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational handover

Delivering clearly documented and testable healthcare data integrations Identifying interoperability, data quality, identity, and workflow risks early Helping ensure exchange behavior respects security, authorization, and partner requirements

• Professional experience building or supporting software integrations
• Practical familiarity with HL7 FHIR concepts, resources, and API-based exchange
• Understanding of HL7 v2 messages or willingness to work with legacy healthcare interfaces
• Experience with REST APIs, structured data formats, and integration testing
• Ability to investigate data mapping and interoperability issues methodically
• Strong documentation and cross-team communication skills
